Partners John Bowerbank and Laura Noroski achieved a hard-fought, successful result for the firm's client in a recently-released arbitration decision. Mr. Bowerbank and his team expertly handled the contentious dispute, which revolved around a multi-million dollar oceanfront property in Laguna Beach. The clients, long time owners of the majority share of the multi-level property, were sued by one of the prior co-owners just after a seven-figure buy-out. The case included complicating factors such as faulty construction, unlicensed contractors and City zoning violations. Mr. Bowerbank and his team launched an aggressive counter-attack on the plaintiff. This strategy paid off as the clients did not have to pay a single penny to the plaintiff, while the plaintiff was ordered to pay damages to the firm's clients.
