Ms. Hattemer handles a range of civil litigation matters, with a focus on general business litigation. Ms. Hattemer has experience representing clients in various industries including financial institutions, energy and technology, insurance, and food manufacturing and confectionary, among others. She has represented clients in state and federal court in a variety of complex breach of contract and business tort claims. In addition, Ms. Hattemer has transactional experience including general corporate counseling and contract drafting.
Prior to joining GRBB, Ms. Hattemer was an associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, where she represented and counseled government contractors regarding all aspects of government contracts litigation and compliance with international trade regulations.
Ms. Hattemer earned her B.A. in Political Science from UCLA, during which time she studied abroad in Mexico City at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In addition, Ms. Hattemer earned an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Kent in Brussels, Belgium.
Ms. Hattemer earned her J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law, where she served as the president of the Latino Law Students Association. Throughout law school, Ms. Hattemer worked at the USC Law Immigration Clinic representing Spanish-speaking asylum seekers before the L.A. Immigration Court and L.A. Asylum Office.
